Why this layout works
Wainscoting frames sit only below the chair rail, so the wall above stays open for art or a mirror. Frames near 26" wide keep the rhythm calm on long walls.

- Mark the rail or ledge height with a laser level.
- Measure the spacing in from each corner and lightly pencil the outlines.
- Fix long pieces first, then work from the centre of the wall outwards.
- Caulk miters, fill seams and paint wall and trim one color for a built-in look.
