A custom accent wall is one feature wall designed around your room: behind the bed, the sofa or the TV. The design is drawn for your exact measurements, then supplied as a pre-cut kit.

Designing around furniture

Behind a queen bed, a centre frame of about 64 inches with narrower side frames frames the headboard. Behind a 65 inch TV, a centre frame of about 70 inches keeps the screen centred. Tell us the furniture width and we size the frames around it.

Styles for accent walls

Picture frame panels for classic rooms, shaker grids for modern spaces, arches for a softer look, and geometric patterns for statement walls. All can be cut to size.

On a 9 ft wall with an 8 ft ceiling, a classic two-row design uses 3 upper and 3 lower frames, each 2' 6.5" (77 cm) wide, spaced 4" (10 cm) apart, with a chair rail at 3' (91 cm). About 84 linear ft of molding with waste.

Pre-cut accent wall kits start from about $53, and a full custom feature wall usually lands in the same range as a standard kit of the same size because the cutting is done to your drawing anyway.

How long does a custom order take?

The layout drawing comes back within 1 to 2 business days. After you approve it, cutting and dispatch take 2 to 4 business days.

Can a custom accent wall work around outlets and switches?

Yes. Send their positions and we shift frame edges so plates sit fully inside or fully outside a frame, never half under the trim.
