How it works

Measure your wall width and height, excluding the baseboard and any crown molding.
Run the numbers through the free wall molding calculator. It returns the frame sizes and the spacing between them.
Choose the kit whose layout matches the design you want.

If nothing fits

Send us the wall measurements, a photo of the wall and a reference image of the look you are after, and we will come back with a layout suggestion.

What you can order as a custom wall molding kit

Any design in the catalog can be cut to your wall: picture frame molding, nested double frames, board and batten, shaker grids, half wall paneling with a chair rail, arched and oval panels, and accent walls with several frame rows. You can change the number of frames, the frame width and height, the gap between frames and the margin above the baseboard and below the ceiling.

What we need from you

Wall width and height, measured in at least two places.
Baseboard height and any crown molding height.
Position and size of doors, windows, outlets, switches, radiators and furniture that stays against the wall.
A straight-on photo of the wall and, if you have one, a reference photo of the look you want.

The free layout drawing

From these measurements we prepare a free layout drawing with every frame size, gap and margin. You can ask for changes until the layout looks right. Only after you approve the drawing do we cut the kit, so every piece arrives cut to length, mitered and numbered to match it.
