Nested Accent Wall Molding Kit, 3 Upper & 3 Bottom Nested Frames

Nested Accent Wall Molding Kit, 3 Upper & 3 Bottom Nested Frames, Easy Installation. Accent Wall 3 Upper, 3 Bottom Nested Frames doubles every panel with an inner frame, giving six layered panels across one wall. The standard kit includes all frames. It is supplied non-adhesive or as Self-Adhesive Paintable trim, so it works behind a bed, a sofa or a dining table.

Material

• High-quality, durable hard polystyrene polymer
• Not wood and not foam
• Lightweight yet solid
• Moisture resistant
• Smooth, factory primed and ready to paint

This picture frame moulding gives a flat wall real architectural depth without the measuring, cutting and mitering a trim project usually involves. The pieces arrive pre-cut and ready to position, so the work on site is adhesive, filler and paint rather than a chop saw and a weekend of dust.

It ships as ready to assemble wall panels: numbered parts, a printed layout reference and corners already mitered. That is what separates a real DIY wall paneling from a bundle of raw lengths you still have to measure and cut down yourself.

What is in the kit

• Pre-cut molding to build 3 upper nested frames + 3 bottom nested frames
• Polystyrene profile with factory-mitered corners
• Factory primed and ready to paint
• Numbered pieces and a printed layout reference

How it goes up

1. Wipe the wall clean and mark the layout for each frame.
2. Run construction adhesive along the back of each piece.
3. Press into place from the top rail down, taping or pinning until the adhesive cures.
4. Fill the joints, caulk the edges, sand lightly and paint.

Sizing it to your wall

Getting the spacing right is the whole job. Measure the wall width and the height between the baseboard and the ceiling or crown, then run those numbers through our free wall panel calculator. It answers how to measure wall for wainscoting and diy wall panel measurement guide in one step, and returns the frame sizes and the clear gaps between them.

• Measure wall width and usable height, excluding baseboard and crown
• Decide how many frames you want across the wall
• Let the calculator set the margins and gaps so the run stays even corner to corner
• Order the kit whose layout matches the result

About the material

Polystyrene keeps the molding light enough to hold in one hand while you position it, and it is dimensionally stable, so mitered corners stay closed once the adhesive cures. It is supplied primed and ready for standard interior wall paint.

Where it works

Suited to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways and any flat, dry interior wall. Works as a full-height feature wall or as half wall paneling under a chair rail. Not intended for outdoor use, bathrooms with standing moisture, or walls with an ongoing damp problem.
